Volunteers of America- Shelter Program

Volunteers of America provides shelter, meals and support to 150 homeless men and women at Hope for Home shelter in Pomona. They also offer a multitude of services to help individuals transition into housing.
OLA has established the third Sunday of every month to support this mission. If you are interested in providing food for a Sunday dinner, contact Tony Soto at tonysotosales@gmail.com .

Rolando Lumbsden, life skills specialist, has eloquently articulated what his clients at Hope for Home in Pomona need to support their graduation from transitional housing into a real home. “Your generous material donations can markedly impact the lives of those we aid as they transition into their own homes after months, years and, yes, decades of physical and psychosocial displacement, hopelessness and abandonment,” he states.
