TEN interactive sessions that explore the Christian faith. Sessions will be held on Wednesday nights at OLA from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Child care is available. A new session will begin in FALL 2018.
A practical introduction to the Christian faith that gives guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.
Fun, relaxed and totally non-pressured. That's probably why 19 million people around the world have have experienced it.
Where you can listen, learn, discuss, and discover. Ask anything.
A place where no question is off limits.
How does it work?
Each Alpha session begins with a meal, followed by a short talk. After that, there is time for discussion in a friendly, small group. There is no charge.
Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, especially
Those who have given up on church
Those wanting to investigate Christianity
Those who are new to the Christian faith
Those wanting to grow in understanding
Alpha is designed for those who are seeking answers to life’s big questions – “Is there more to life than this?” “Why are we here?”. Alpha is primarily for those who have no religious background, for those who don’t attend Mass regularly or for those who might simply be stuck in their faith journey. That said, Alpha is open to anyone who wants to attend.
Where is it?
The Alpha sessions take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 435 Berkeley Ave. in Claremont (CA 91711). The first session is in the auditorium. Questions may be directed to email@example.com.
