First Fridays in Lent
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament (Eucharistic Adoration) will be held in the Reflection Room every Friday in Lent from March 8 to April 12, from 7 a.m. (following the 6:30 a.m. Mass) to 5:30 p.m. NOTE: On First Friday, April 5, Adoration continues over night until Saturday at 7:45 a.m. before the 8 a.m. Mass.
First Friday Eucharistic Adoration (outside of Lent)
Once a month, on the First Friday, an opportunity is provided for the faithful to spend time in silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for approximately 24 hours. All are welcome to come to the Reflection Room from 7 a.m. on Friday until 8 a.m. on Saturday. Eucharistic Adoration is offered every Friday in during the season of Lent. This ministry of prayer has been sustained for 20 years at OLA.
Daily Divine Office or Liturgy of the Hours (15 minute communal prayer)
This traditional prayer is based on the Psalms. The prayer group gathers Monday through Friday at 6 a.m. (before the 6:30 a.m. Mass) and after the 5:30 p.m. Mass (approx. 6 p.m.).
Masses with a healing service
Once a month, an evening Mass followed by a healing service is offered in church. Please check the parish bulletin for dates and times. The OLA Prayer Warriors lead the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet before this Mass begins. All are welcome.
