FosterAll

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles strongly endorses  FosterAll, a non-profit organization that recruits and supports foster parents in Los Angeles County.

Foster parents can transform the lives of children who may be neglected in the foster care system. Good foster families can provide the stability and love they need to beat the odds and insure a bright future.

In Los Angeles County there are 28,000 children in non-family foster care, more than any other county in the United States. There is a special need for foster parents for sibling groups, older children, and children with disabilities, well as emergency infant care. Covid-19 has had an impact on the foster care system by isolating children from their safety net of teachers and coaches.

Caring for the vulnerable child is the work of the community. As those who have been blessed with so much, it is a joy and privilege to bring blessing to these children. A crisis is looming, but the faith community in Southern California is rising.
