BECOMING CATHOLIC AT OLA...
NEXT INFORMATION NIGHT IS JANUARY 10, 2018
Are you, or someone you know, considering joining the Catholic Church?
Do you want to know more about the Catholic Faith?
Were you baptized in the Catholic Church and want to complete sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation as an adult?
Are you wondering about what to do next? Christian Initiation or RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) can help!
CHRISTIAN INITIATION IS A YEAR-ROUND PROCESS AT OLA! Give us a call today to get started!
Several times a year we hold an Inquiry Series for those with questions and those ready to start the process leading to the sacraments. We invite you to attend the Winter Inquiry Series in English or in Spanish!
Information Night is Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 7 p.m. in Classroom 15.
The Inquiry Series meets Wednesdays at 7 p.m. beginning January 17 in the Rectory Dining Room.
RICA EN ESPAÑOL: Will meet beginning January 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the OLA Convent.
We invite you to join us for the Inquiry Series, held several times each year. During the series we explore what it means to be Catholic, what we believe and why, what really happens during the Mass, why we do the things we do, and any other questions you may have about our faith tradition. No commitment is asked during the Inquiry process and there is no charge for adult RCIA.
Following the Inquiry Series, those wishing to prepare for the sacraments and join the Catholic Church attend the ongoing RCIA/ RICA sessions. English speaking candidates join Sunday morning RCIA sessions. Spanish speaking candidates continue meeting with RICA on Wednesday evenings.
