I am convinced that we can make a difference… Now is the time for courageous action and strategies aimed at implementing a “culture of care” and “an integrated approach to combating poverty, restoring dignity to the excluded, and at the same time protecting nature.
Renew your commitment to the principles of Laudato Si Saturday, March 24, at a workshop co-hosted by OLA JustAct Ministry and Pilgrim Place in Claremont. The workshop is free from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including three speakers in the morning, lunch, and three speakers in the afternoon.
Laudato Si (2015) is the landmark encyclical by Pope Francis calling upon all nations to “hear the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor” and unite for environmental justice.
The March 24 workshop will focus on ways we can convert our lives and our actions into an effective advocacy for the earth and for the poor.
