Become an RCIA TEAM Member or Sponsor
Is God calling you to let your light shine for those seeking Him? Each of us is called to give back to God’s people in some way. Guiding and accompanying others on their journey of faith through the Christian Initiation program for adults is a rewarding and inspirational service to our faith community.

Help Wanted: RCIA Sponsors

The Sponsor acts as a personal link between the newcomer and the parish community and helps him/her by:
• Providing encouragement
• Answering questions
• Praying with, and for, the newcomer
• Introducing the newcomer to other members of the community
• Joining the newcomer in sessions.
The Sponsor should possess a deep love and appreciation for the Catholic faith and have a strong desire
to welcome others into it.
Sponsors minister, one-on-one, with their newcomer throughout their journey leading to full initiation in the Catholic Church and commit to joining them in our formation sessions.

RCIAsponsor.jpg“The excitement of becoming a sponsor takes our own spiritual journey to a place where, together, we understand the path Jesus Christ has prepared for us. Many surprises are shared and many blessings warm your heart,” says Sponsor Joan Giuliano, shown here with two candidates, Juan Verches and Iran Vergara.
