Everyone can participate in this important annual outreach program for the hungry poor! Visit the information table on the patio this weekend and next to pick up sponsor forms and walk or make a donation in the name of someone who will be walking. Walkers will include Fr. Charles, Fr. The date for the 39th annual Walk for the Hungry is Sunday afternoon, Oct.21, atClaremont University consotrium, 101 South Mills Ave., Claremont.. Come early to enjoy the In-N-Out lunch truck, balloons, popcorn, music and face painting for children, as well as a food collection. Bring your sonsor sheet and donations, or register the day of the event. The walk itself begins at 1 p.m. Walk 5/10K in Claremont's historic college district. The goal is $100,000 (80 % for local food programs, 20 % for global food programs).
